TRAC WOLVERINES - 2026 U11AA CHAMPIONS

U11AA February Players of the Month

Community Players of the Month:

John Martin (Camrose Vikings – D)

John was seriously injured in a head-on collision while travelling to an away game, suffering injuries including a broken femur and wrist. Despite this, he quickly returned to support his team; first in a wheelchair and now on crutches, bringing energy, positivity, and leadership through pre- and post-game cheers, he’s even been announcing the starting lineups! His determination and upbeat attitude have been an inspiration to his teammates and have made a meaningful impact on the team even while he’s unable to play.

Riley Winstanley (Airdrie Lightning – D)

Riley is actively involved with charities including Make-A-Wish Southern Alberta and KidsUpFront Calgary, volunteering at events and helping raise funds throughout the year. He also spreads holiday cheer in the Airdrie community as a Christmas Elf, packing and delivering gifts. Riley’s kindness and empathy shines through in his dedication to supporting children’s charities and bringing smiles to others.
